Monday

The film crew of the M4M channel shoots social advertising at a Moscow school, and the hero accidentally meets a history teacher Natasha, who makes a strong impression on him. He thinks he is in love.

Andrei returns to Ostankino and introduces his colleagues to readers, especially dwelling on the competitor, the host of the popular Seventh Guest show, Oleg Khizhnyak. Almost from the day they met, the characters hate each other. "... And a series of mutilations started ... We spoiled each other's little things ... And all this happened in the halo of rumors and gossip spread on the channel ...".

The working atmosphere in the television studio is familiar, cynical and very informal. After discussing the script for the weekly show “City News”, Andrey has lunch with the music program host Dasha Semisvetova, who is in love with him. The hero cynically argues that

At dinner, Andrei discusses the shooting of the series with friends Anton and Ivan, one of whom is a director, the other is a financier. It turns out that the process is on the verge of collapse due to many problems.

A year and a half ago, he lived in Holland with the girl Helen, worked on local TV and was not going to return to Russia, from where he escaped due to an ugly love story. His friend Anton invited him to become the host of the youth show on the new M4M channel. Andrei abandoned everything and secretly returned home. Flashback

The film crew arrives at a nightclub where Nick Cave will perform. The whole group gets drunk, Dasha tricked the hero into accepting LSD. A mixture of drugs and alcohol introduces Andrei into a trance, and he has sex with Dasha. Interview with Cave is not filmed.

Home

Returning to Moscow, the group realizes that it has not completed the editorial task, and decides to mount an interview with Cave, taking it on the Internet and re-playing it.

At the evening show, Andrei departs from the planned script and sets up a small scandal, tricking officials and police officers invited to the studio.

Now the group is looking for a performer for the role of the main character, as a professional actor refused to act in films. Andrei meets with his oligarch father in a cafe.He criticizes his son’s lifestyle and demands that he become more responsible. Father and son do not agree on anything, but Andrei promises to reflect on his life. In the same cafe, he accidentally notices Natasha with an elderly man. The hero arranges a scene of jealousy for her and calms down only when the girl assures that she saw her father. Natasha comes to Andrei’s home, and they reconcile, realizing that they are in love with each other.

The day when everything is wrong

Andrei and his friends present the pilot series of the television movie to Director Lobov and receive his praise.
